Learn Spanish In Costa Rica

Costa Rica is located in the middle of Central America, surrounded on two sides by the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and by Nicaragua on the north and Panama on the south. The country is so beautiful that it's hardly surprising that there should be so many universities, learning centers and Spanish schools in Costa Rica. The Spanish influence is very evident in the culture, language, people and historical and modern architecture.

A beach lovers' delight, Costa Rica offers many opportunities for water sports, fishing, hiking, travel and sightseeing - and for learning a second language in one of the many Spanish schools in Costa Rica. The country has become a major tourist destination with over a million visitors per year. The area is normally very moderate in temperature with winter averages of 62 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 89 degrees in the coastal areas.

The rainy season is between May and December with drier conditions the rest of the year. Even during the rainy season the rain is very sporadic and usually only for a few hours. The mountains and volcanoes make the inland terrain wonderful for hiking and outdoors activities, while the beaches provide warm sand and water for relaxing and taking life easy.

Rocket Spanish - The Ultimate Guide To Learning Spanish

The capital of Costa Rica, San Jose, is located roughly in the center of the country. The city features multiple museums, such as the Museo de los Niños and the historical site of the Ruinas de Ujarras. Trips to the Spirogyra Butterfly Garden, the Parque Nacional Volcan Poas and the amazing Rainforest Aerial Tram trip allow people attending Spanish schools in Costa Rica to see the amazing landscape of the area. The wonderfully luxurious hotels and resorts in and near San Jose and the beach areas provide excellent accommodations.

The beaches on both coasts are famous for the long stretches of sand and excellent fishing, surfing and boating opportunities - perfect for all Spanish language students after a day (or just a morning) in their schools. Tamarindo Beach has several resorts and casinos and is a popular spot for weekend get-aways. The restaurants in the area feature a wide range of local seafood dishes that are world-class.

The beaches near Liberia also offer amazing views of the sea as well as the opportunity to hike, trek and explore the rainforests, as well as snorkel in the lagoons. For golfers there is a championship course designed by Arnold Palmer that provides a challenge as well as breathtaking scenery. There is so much to see and do that Spanish schools in Costa Rica are popular places to learn a second language.
