Learn Spanish in Roatan
A small island in the beautiful waters of the Bay of Honduras, Roatan is a perfect place for a vacation, get away, or as a place to attend a Spanish language school. In Roatan the atmosphere is very relaxed and slow-paced, and visitors immediately feel the island comfort surround them when they arrive. The island itself is much less geared towards tourism than some of the other Caribbean Islands, which allows visitors to experience a lot of the traditional culture in day-to-day living. After a day of shopping, sightseeing or just relaxing on the smooth white beaches, an evening at one of the wonderful outdoor restaurants makes a perfect ending to a beautiful day. The Caribbean influence provides lots of spicy type foods, with seafood being front and center on most menus. Traditional American, Italian and even French cuisine is also available on the island. Spending time in Roatan is rejuvenating and refreshing. Many of the students at the Spanish language schools in Roatan choose to stay on the island, but for those that want to return to the mainland there are regular ferries or boat rentals.
