Introduction

We are a Spanish language immersion school located in the Manuel Antonio National Park area, 2.5 hours drive from the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose. Manuel Antonio Park is one of the most visited parks in Costa Rica and offers the most beautiful beaches in the country, as well as extraordinary biodiversity.

We offer various Spanish language academic programs, such as Spanish only, Spanish and Surf, Spanish and Scuba Diving, Spanish and Volunteer.

Our approach to education is casual and fun but at the same time we take teaching Spanish seriously and make sure that our students benefit as much as possible from their time with us.

We are very customer oriented and will do everything we can to make sure that our Spanish language students are happy while with us and leave even happier.

• Nationality mix: USA/Canada - 80%; German, British, Dutch, Swiss, Swedish - 20%

• Age mix: 15-25 - 70%; 25-55 - 20%; over 55 and children - 10%

• Minimum teacher qualification: University graduates, native speakers of Spanish, with experience

Courses Offered

Group Courses

• Levels offered: Beginner to Superior (12 levels)
• Number of classes per week: 20
• Length of course: minimum 1 week
• Maximum number of students per group: 5
• Minimum age: 6 (Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian)

Private Courses

• Levels offered: Beginner to Superior (12 levels)
• Number of classes per week: 15 or 20
• Length of course: minimum 1 week
• Minimum age: 6 (Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian)

We offer the following programs in combination with either Group or Private Courses:

• Spanish only
• Spanish and Surf
• Spanish and Scuba Diving
• Spanish and Volunteer

Activities and Excursions

• Spanish class at a mountain ranch once a week
• Dance class (free once a week)
• Surf or yoga class (one free per stay)
• Free 1-hour conversation class, 3 times a week

At extra cost:

• Canopy tour, kayaking, white water rafting, horse riding, sports fishing, cycling, mangrove boat tours, sunset boat cruise, snorkeling, scuba diving etc…

College Credit

We can offer our students 2 ways of obtaining credit for courses taken with us:

1. From your own college by having our courses pre-approved by your institution
2. Credit by Seattle Central Community College and as such credits are normally easily approved and transferred between US Colleges
