Situated in the area known as the Costa Tropical, this seaside resort town has endless beaches, a warm, tropical climate and great restaurants and entertainment. While the city of La Herradura is on the coast, the Sierra Nevada Mountain range makes a dramatic background, plus protects this tropical paradise from the cold winter winds that cut across the rest of Spain.
