Introduction
Our Language Institute is recognized as one of the finest Spanish
language schools in Mexico. For students who are looking for Spanish
language schools, our Spanish language programs are backed up with over 36
years of experience in language instruction and offer you the possibility
of participating in one of the finest Spanish language immersion programs

educationally productive as possible. Although Spanish language schools in
Mexico vary in course content considerably, we have developed Spanish
language courses that target a wide range of student needs. Our intensive
Spanish language programs focus on the needs of students, professionals,
or individuals that would simply like to improve their Spanish language
ability. Intensive Spanish language learning is made possible through
close contact with native speakers and complete involvement in the Spanish
language environment.
With over 36 years of Spanish language instruction experience, our
Spanish language program in Guadalajara is designed to develop an overall
fluency. In addition, studying Spanish in Mexico becomes simple as
students find themselves completely immersed in using Spanish in every day
conversation. It is a great opportunity for those that would like to study
Spanish while on vacation in Mexico. Our course material is designed to
generate real language development. Every aspect of the course material,
from vocabulary enhancement to the classroom conversation exercises, is
focused on Spanish language fluency in real situations. We are currently
using a four part Spanish course that provides us with the flexibility to
meet the needs of a wide range of ability levels. It uses an active
communicative approach in which the students are asked to perform in real
life situations with real purposes.

Accommodation Offered
Homestay
The homestay program has the advantage of enabling the student to be
completely immersed both in the intensive use of the Spanish language at
home as well as our way of life, our customs, and the traditional
hospitality of a Mexican family.
Hotels
For those students that would prefer more independent housing
arrangements while learning to speak Spanish, IMAC has obtained some
outstanding discounts in several of Guadalajara's historic downtown nicest
hotels. These excellent hotels that we frequently recommend have received
a 4 star service rating and are conveniently located within walking
distance to the school, here in the historic downtown area of Guadalajara,
Mexico.
Guest House
Another lodging option that we can offer to students who would like a
more private lodging is a small semi-private apartment. This guest house
offers less than ten rooms so you will have the chance to interact with
students from other schools as well as native travelers.
Apartments
From "very good" to "best available", modern
apartments will average U.S. $550 to $1500 per month for two people. We do
not arrange roommates in apartments. No meals included.

College Credit
Our
institution grants six credit hours for 120 hours of group contact
classroom instruction or 80 hours of private instruction. This is
the equivalent of one credit hour per 20 hours of group classes
for our introductory course.
