Introduction
Centro de Enseñanza de Español La Herradura has been
teaching Spanish to foreigners since 1997.
During the classes we use a communicative method, allowing
the students to feel confident in all situations by emphasizing the use of
practical applications. Your individual needs and requirements are
determined so that whichever teaching method is applied, learning can be
facilitated.
Personal attention to each individual student is very
important to us. Therefore we are proud to say that there are many
students who repeat every year or recommend our school to family and
friends.

Minimum qualification teachers: All our teachers are
graduated in the study of Spanish language and are specialist in
teaching Spanish to foreigners. Their large experience, kindness,
motivation and confidence makes learning a real pleasure. The Spanish
classes are taught entirely in the foreign language

Accredited by: The centre belongs to the chain of
associated centers whose quality has been specifically recognized by
the Instituto Cervantes.

Courses Offered
We offer several different Spanish courses, and Spanish course combined
with Sport courses (tennis, diving, windsurfing, sailing, golf, horse riding
and dancing).
- Level offered: all levels (basic knowledge to superior knowledge and
preparation for Dele, Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera)
- Number of classes per week: 15, 20 or 30 hours
- Length of course: minimum one week, max. 16 weeks
- Maximum number of students per group: 8 students
- Minimum age: 6 years.

Accommodation Offered
We offer different kinds of accommodation:

Activities and Excursions
Besides all the courses we also have an enormous
offer of extracurricular activities in the afternoon and week ends
accompanied by our teachers or local guides.

Land: Caving, trekking, archeological tour,
tennis, horse riding, rambling, bicycle tour, jeep tour, gastronomical
tour, survival tour, visits to natural parks, abseiling

Water: Canoeing, rafting, abseiling through
rivers, kayaking, diving, snorkeling, sailing, water skiing, boat
excursions, visits to warm water springs

Air: paragliding together with teacher, hot air
ballooning

Snow (from late November until March in the
Sierra Nevada): Igloo construction, dog sled rides, skiing, ice
rafting

Week end excursions (2 or 3 days): Morocco,
rambling in La Alpujarra, camping in the mountains, survival
excursion, excursion to Cordoba, Sevilla, Cazorla etc.

At night: Ruta de tapas, diners, cooking lessons,
cinema, theatre, concerts, fiestas (parties).
College Credit
The school is in the process of making the necessary arrangements for
college credit. In the meantime, some universities and colleges accept our
studies for credit already - please ask us for more information.
