Learn Spanish in Guanacaste

One of the many benefits of attending Spanish schools in Guanacaste is the amazing number of national parks, wildlife refuges and other points of interest that this beautiful area of Costa Rica has to offer. One of the many national parks is the Palo Verde National Park that combines with the Lomas de Barbudal Biological Reserve to provide 13,058 hectares of wild area to walk through, hike and trail ride through. In total there are 10 large national parks and numerous smaller parks scattered throughout the area. Many of these parks are located on a volcanic range that provides breathtaking scenery over the coastal area.

The Spanish schools in Guanacaste provide lots of opportunity for students to have a chance to sample local sporting events and activities as well. Along the beautiful shore there are ample opportunities to snorkel and fish as well as catch some waves with world-class surfing. The fishing guides are all local people that can ensure that students will have a great day of fishing and lots of scenic views of the volcanoes and mango forests that reach down to the edge of the water.

In addition to surfing and fishing in the Pacific Ocean, there is also the opportunity to dive in these waters that are densely populated with manta, colorful tropical fish and even sharks and whales in the correct seasons. Cocos Island is one of the most widely-used diving areas with the months of June, July and August being the most popular. 

In addition to the many outdoor activities, Spanish schools in Guanacaste also encourage students to get to know the culture of the area. Trips to local markets, small towns and villages, as well as special cultural events, will be arranged. There is an abundance of hotels and resorts, many located right on the water, that have excellent food, entertainment and the opportunity to just sit and watch the world go by. In addition there are museums, historical sites and outdoor markets to shop, look around, and get to know the local customs and traditions while attending school.
