Barcelona is located on the edge of the Mediterranean and is the second largest city in Spain. It has both the second largest population and physical size, and is a metropolis in the true sense of the word. Barcelona has limitless attractions, restaurants, nightclubs, festivals and cultural events to offer visitors. Many people come to the area to participate in one of the many Spanish courses in Barcelona and come back again and again for the beauty of the city.

While studying Spanish courses in Barcelona, consider taking one of the many guided tours through the city. These half- or full-day tours will include visits to the Plaza España and the Mirador del Alcalde, which is one of the best spots to overlook this massive city.
